Why you need to be able to jump high off 1 or 2 feet

Nowadays it seems many basketball players categorize themselves as either a 1-foot jumper, or a 2-foot jumper.

Most players settle with believing that this is just the way they were born, and avoid even trying to jump a different way than what they're used to. 😑

This common misconception that because it's easier for you to jump a certain way, that that's the only way you should be jumping has been plaguing basketball for years. 🤔

- The best basketball players in today's game can jump high off of either 1 or 2 feet, and can jump almost equally high with their Right or Left foot individually. 👑👴🏿🐍🌹

- So if you want to be great you need to be able to do the same. 🗣

- One of the most popular finishes in today's game is the off-foot layup because by jumping off of your "off" foot you're able to use your body to shield the ball away from the defense. Ex. Jumping off of your Left foot on the Left side & finishing with your Left hand. https://instagram.com/p/B3AmHi7hV36/

* In order to be able to jump high off of either 1 or 2 feet you need to develop your balance on both legs.

* You will also need to find any potential muscular imbalances you might have in your lower body, and fix them by using specific techniques to activate the inactive muscles during certain exercises & strength training. 🏋🏻
